Bluebonnet Brunch House is a Texan-owned, vibrant new brunch restaurant dedicated to providing exceptional brunch experiences in a welcoming and cozy atmosphere. We are seeking friendly and outgoing individuals to join our team as Hosts/Hostesses. As a Host/Hostess, you will be the first point of contact for our guests, setting the tone for their dining experience and ensuring they feel welcome and valued from the moment they arrive.

Responsibilities:

· Warmly greet and welcome guests as they enter the restaurant

· Manage the waiting list and seating arrangements to ensure efficient table turnover

· Provide accurate wait time estimates and manage reservations

· Escort guests to their tables and present menus

· Assist servers with table turnovers by clearing and sanitizing tables promptly

· Handle guest inquiries, complaints, and special requests with professionalism and efficiency

· Ability to answer phone calls promptly and courteously, taking reservations and handling inquiries with professionalism and efficiency.

· Manage third-party delivery services for timely pickup of orders, ensuring accuracy and completeness of orders handed off

· Maintain cleanliness and organization at the host stand and in the waiting area

· Collaborate with the front-of-house team to ensure exceptional guest experiences

· Adhere to food safety and sanitation standards at all times

Qualifications:

· Previous experience in a customer service role preferred but not required

· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

· Ability to remain calm and composed in high-pressure situations

· Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

· Polite and hospitable demeanor

· Flexibility to work a variety of hours, including weekends and holidays

· Basic computer skills

· Ability to stand and walk for extended periods

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $10.00 - $15.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 – 60 per week
